Nomad Hospitality Group – Interior Contracting Division

Location: Doha, Qatar | Various Interior Design Projects of the Group

NHG is a premier hospitality conglomerate, and our NMD Interior Contracting Division is the integrated engine that brings our luxury concepts to life. NMD specializes in the bespoke design, fit-out, and furnishing of high-end hospitality, commercial, and residential projects. We are seeking a highly creative and technically proficient Interior Designer to join our dedicated NMD Interior Design House team.

The ideal candidate possesses a refined aesthetic, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to seamlessly translate conceptual vision into technical documentation for flawless execution by our fit-out and furniture teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptual Design & Development: Lead the design process for bespoke luxury hospitality (hotels, restaurants) and high-end residential projects, developing compelling concepts, mood boards, and material palettes that align with the NHG brand philosophy.

• Technical Documentation: Produce comprehensive design packages, including detailed 2D layouts, elevations, sections, and specification sheets (FF&E and finishes) necessary for tender and construction.

• Collaboration & Integration: Work in close synergy with the NMD Fit-Out and NMD Furniture Atelier teams to ensure design intent is maintained throughout procurement, custom fabrication, and on-site execution.

• Material Expertise: Research, source, and specify premium, high-quality materials and bespoke furnishings, maintaining strict adherence to budget and project timelines.

• Presentation: Prepare and deliver professional, articulate presentations to senior management and external clients, effectively communicating the design narrative and technical solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of dedicated experience working on high-end, luxury commercial, or hospitality projects (hotels, fine dining). Experience within a design-build or contracting environment is highly advantageous.

• Technical Proficiency: Expert proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is mandatory. Strong skills in Revit, 3DS Max, V-Ray, or Lumion are highly desirable. Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop).

• Industry Knowledge: Proven understanding of local building codes, construction processes, fit-out methods, and MEP coordination.

• Personal Attributes: Exceptional aesthetic judgment, strong communication skills (written and verbal English), and a rigorous attention to detail.
